What is Damascus steel and why is it used in your knives?

We employ Damascus steel due to its excellent sharpness, hardness, and striking wave patterns. Some of our hand forged knives, such as hunting knives and chef knife sets, have Damascus blades for outstanding cutting performance. 

Are Hunt Craft hunting knives suitable for field dressing and skinning?

Do you sell custom handmade knives?

How do I maintain my Damascus steel or handmade knife?

Handwash your handmade knife with mild soap, dry it at once, and put on a light coating of oil. This will maintain the edge and finish of the blade, particularly on Damascus and hand forged knives.

Are your folding pocket knives designed for everyday carry (EDC)?

Our folding knives and pocket folding knives are tough, portable, and convenient to carry. Perfect for EDC, camping, hunting, or minor jobs, they deliver functionality with handcrafted aesthetics.

How is a fixed-blade knife different from a folding knife?

Fixed-blade knives are stronger and suitable for heavy-use activities such as hunting or survival, whereas folding knives are more convenient and perfect for daily usage. They both come in hand forged and custom handmade designs.

Do your knives get heat-treated or forged by hand?

Yes, each Hunt Craft knife is professionally heat-treated to ensure strength. Several of our items are hand forged knives, providing more durability and a hand-finished look you will not discover in mass-produced blades.

Can I receive engraving on my hunting knife or chef knife set?

You can engarve your name, birthdate, boyfriend's name or place or anythingelse because we provide custom engraving on most knives, including hunting knives, chef knife sets, and pocket folding knives, perfect for gift giving or personalization.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship all knives securely internationally. The standard order shipment will take seven to eight working days. We make sure each order is packaged with care for safe delivery.

What is the best knife to use for skinning game?

Our skinner knives are designed for quick, efficient skinning. Moreover, you can select a fixed-blade knife as well for greater control and strength when field dressing and hunting.

Are Hunt Craft knives dishwasher safe?

No, we advise handwashing all knives, including folding knives, chef knife sets, and axes as well, to maintain the blade and handle quality.
